Layer upon layer.
I mix pencil, ink, watercolour, acrylic... and now and then digital; the medium is not the limit, the vision is.

Mixed media is the language I’ve spoken since the day I was born.
I start with pencil, go over it in ink, lay down watercolour and come back with acrylic. Sometimes I finish on the computer. In the end you can no longer tell where one layer stops and the next begins. Exactly what I’m after.
The other half of my soul is generative: code, blocks, algorithms. The tool changes, the idea is the same. Go to generative art.
Drawings

Painting
Layers of acrylic to build texture and volume.
Comic
In my comic pages, traditional and digital merge into a single workflow: pencil roughs, development on the computer, a printed draft corrected by hand, then back to the PC.
Here is Airascopoli: the cover and page 2, from pencil to ink.

Miniatures
Where I was born, where I always come back to. Acrylics, brush and airbrush define the light, shade and colour that tell a different story every time.

Mixed media, mixed ideas.
I set no limits, neither of material nor of idea.
If an idea wants ink I use ink, if it wants code I write code. Drawing is my way of getting out what’s in my head, and it goes through wherever it has to.
